Kingsway Boxing Club

Kingsway Boxing Club is a veteran of Taste of the Kingsway, celebrating its 10 year anniversary participating in the festival in 2016! In 2006 the team “hit the streets as true street fighters” to start building interest in the sport and eventually grew from a 14’x14’ boxing studio to two locations with an Olympic sized ring.

Kingsway Boxing Club offers a variety of programs from beginner classes to ameteur competition prep and dedicated women’s classes. For developing athletes the club also features an ages 7 and up class as well as a coed teen class. A cornerstone program is the Girls Teen Boxing Program which is lead by Canadian National Coach and 3Star International Referee/Judge, Jennifer Huggins.

The club is very active in its community and holds an annual fundraiser called Fight To End Cancer  that raises money to find a cure for cancer. Attendees can sponsor a fighter and donations are directed to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

If you’re looking to get in shape and try out something new, check out the free demo class and give boxing a try with The Kingsway Boxing Club! The sense of community and the sport will keep you coming back every week!

Check out The Kingsway Boxing Club at 3005 Bloor Street West on The Kingsway. You can also find the club on Facebook, Twitter , Instagram , and youtube. And their website here: https://kingswayboxingclub.com/
